Every Event Needs Somewhere to Stand
A stage is where the event actually happens — the keynote, the band, the award, the first dance. ACME Party and Tent has provided staging services in Houston since 1997: stage platforms and risers, dance floors, and the sub-flooring that makes uneven ground behave. This is a service, not just a rental — our own crews measure, build, level, and strike every stage we supply, because a platform holding people is only as good as its installation.
Staging pairs naturally with the rest of our catalog: tents overhead, lighting and AV on the platform, power behind it, and seating in front of it — one vendor for the whole build.

Designed Around Your Program, Built for Your Site
Staging starts with two questions: what happens on the platform, and what does the ground look like underneath it? A six-piece band, a panel of speakers, and a fashion show all want different footprints and heights, and a lawn that slopes toward a bayou wants different support than a ballroom floor. Our team plans stage size, height, steps, and rails to the program, and our installers build it level and solid on whatever surface the venue offers — confirmed in advance through a site survey when conditions are in question.
Indoors, Outdoors, and Under Tents
Houston staging has to handle Houston conditions. Outdoors, we account for wind, drainage, and ground stability; under tents, we coordinate stage placement with the structure layout so sight lines, exits, and power runs all work together; indoors, we protect venue floors and work within move-in windows. From corporate general sessions and galas to festivals, weddings, school programs, and award nights, the same discipline applies: measured, level, safe, on time.

Yes. Staging systems are leveled to the site, and where ground is significantly sloped or soft we add sub-flooring to create a stable foundation first. A site survey confirms the right approach.
They can. Steps, handrails, ramps, and skirting are configured to your stage height and program, and carpet or runners can finish the surface.
Yes — that is the point of our staging service. Stage, lighting, AV, power, and even the tent overhead can be planned and installed together on one order.
As soon as your date and venue are set. Stages are typically installed before other vendors load in, so staging is scheduled early in the event build.
