Pipe & Drape Setup
Professional pipe and drape installation for expos, conventions, and trade shows across Houston — measured, installed, and struck by ACME crews.
The Fastest Way to Turn a Hall Into a Show
Pipe and drape is the backbone of nearly every trade show floor: it defines booths, builds aisles, hides back-of-house clutter, and gives an empty hall structure in a matter of hours. But at show scale, pipe and drape is only as good as the crew that installs it. Rows have to be straight, heights consistent, fabric hung clean, and the whole build finished before exhibitors arrive. That is the service ACME Party and Tent has provided to Houston shows since 1997 — not just the hardware, but the measured, professional installation.
We stock the drape itself in our Houston warehouse and send our own trained crews to set it, which means the same company is accountable for the equipment, the layout, and the schedule.
Where Pipe & Drape Earns Its Keep at an Expo
Show organizers and exhibitors use our pipe and drape setups for:
- Booth backwalls and side rails across entire exhibit floors
- Aisle definition and traffic flow through large halls
- Registration backdrops and sponsor branding walls
- Masking storage, catering staging, and unfinished areas
- Dividing ballrooms and tents into breakout rooms
Drape heights and colors vary by application, and panels can be combined to fit booth footprints or run in continuous walls. Browse the hardware and fabric options on our pipe and drape rental page.
From Floor Plan to Finished Floor
A hall-scale drape build starts on paper. Send us the show’s floor plan — or ask us to help lay one out — and we translate it into hardware counts, drape quantities, and an installation sequence. On site, our crews snap lines, set bases and uprights, and hang fabric so booth rows land exactly where the plan says they should. When the show closes, we strike the entire build and clear the hall on the venue’s timetable.
Pipe and drape rarely travels alone. Most shows pair it with our booth rental packages, draped tables, seating, stanchions, and lighting — one truck, one crew, one invoice for the whole floor.
Houston Crews Who Know Houston Venues
Every venue has its own rules for docks, freight, floor protection, and rigging, and our installers work inside those rules week after week. Because our warehouse is at 11144 S Post Oak, we can also respond quickly when a show grows — extra booths sold late, a sponsor wall added the night before doors, or a last-minute room split. For full show-floor planning, pair this service with our event setup and management team.
Tell us your show dates, venue, and approximate linear footage and request a quote — an expo specialist will come back with drape options and an installation plan.

We do both. Most expo clients use our full service: we deliver, install to the floor plan, and strike the build after the show. Delivery-only rentals are available for smaller setups through our pipe and drape rental page.
Yes. Hall-scale builds are our specialty — booth backwalls and side rails across the floor, aisle runs, registration backdrops, and masking walls, installed in sequence inside the venue’s move-in window.
We stock multiple heights and a range of fabric colors suited to trade show work. Tell us the look the show needs and we will confirm options from current inventory.
Yes. Drape walls are a fast, clean way to split ballrooms, halls, and tents into breakout rooms, backstage areas, or storage — and they remove without a trace.
Book as soon as your floor plan is reasonably firm. We can often accommodate late additions from our Houston warehouse, but full-hall builds are scheduled around venue move-in windows that fill up in busy seasons.
