Golf Tournaments

Registration tents, on-course hospitality, scoring areas, and 19th-hole pavilions for charity scrambles, member-guests, and corporate golf days.

Golf Tournament Rentals That Respect the Course

A golf tournament is really three events wearing one polo shirt: a competition on the course, a hospitality function around it, and, very often, a fundraiser underneath it all. Charity scrambles, member-guest weekends, corporate golf days, and junior championships all depend on the same infrastructure: shade at registration, comfort on the course, and a proper gathering place when the last group putts out. ACME Party and Tent has been supplying that infrastructure to Houston-area courses since 1997.

From our warehouse at 11144 S Post Oak we serve clubs and tournament committees across Houston, Southeast Texas, and the Gulf Coast. Our crews coordinate with course superintendents on placement, anchoring, and cart-path access, because we know the tournament is temporary but the turf is not. Call 713-729-2424 to talk through your event.

From Bag Drop to the 19th Hole

Tournament day starts at a tent. Registration and check-in canopies near the bag drop set the tone, keep volunteers organized, and get golfers to their carts on time. Out on the course, shade tents at tee boxes host sponsor activations, beverage stations, and contest holes, the long-drive and hole-in-one setups that sponsors pay to put their names on. Scoring tents give committees a calm place to work as cards come in.

Then the main event after the main event: the 19th-hole pavilion. A frame or structure tent with fans or air conditioning, bars, banquet tables, and a stage for the awards presentation turns the post-round gathering into the part of the day people remember, and the reason they sign up again next year.

The Golf Tournament Equipment List

Add glassware, china, flatware, and food warmers when the day ends with a full banquet, and lighting when the auction runs past sunset. Everything comes from one catalog, arrives on one truck, and is installed by one crew that has worked golf courses before. Start the conversation through our quote form.

Planning a Tournament That Runs Like a Good Round

The best tournaments are planned backward from the awards ceremony. Once you know where golfers finish, the banquet tent, the bar, the stage, everything else falls into place: registration flows near the clubhouse, sponsor tents land on the holes with the best visibility, and beverage stations space out across the routing. We help committees map all of it, then schedule installation the day before so volunteers arrive to a finished site, with teardown after the last raffle prize goes home.

For charity events, remember that every dollar saved on logistics is a dollar that reaches the cause; consolidating with one vendor keeps the budget clean and the committee sane. Hosting other sports too? See our sports events page and the soccer tournament guide, or browse every occasion on the events hub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most events use a registration canopy, a few shade tents on sponsor and contest holes, a scoring tent, and a larger pavilion for the post-round meal and awards. We will size the package to your field, your sponsor count, and your banquet plans.

Yes. We coordinate placement, anchoring, and access routes with the course superintendent, and our crews use cart paths and approved routes for delivery. Protecting the course is part of the installation plan, not an afterthought.

Absolutely, and for summer tournaments we strongly recommend it. Sidewalls plus tent air conditioning or high-volume fans keep the 19th-hole pavilion comfortable, and we size the climate equipment and generators to the tent.

Installation typically happens the day before the tournament so your volunteers and sponsors arrive to a finished site. Teardown is scheduled after the awards wrap up, on the timeline the course approves.

Yes. Because tents, tables, chairs, bars, staging, and power all come from one vendor, we can right-size a package to the budget and cut duplicate delivery fees. Tell us your priorities and we will build around them.
