A Long History of Giving Back to Greater Houston
ACME Rental has a long history of supporting community organizations across the Greater Houston area. Since our family founded the company in 1997, we have believed that a Houston business should show up for Houston — and for us, showing up looks like tents, tables, staging, and crews put to work for the causes that make this region better.
Some of that support takes the form of ongoing partnerships, which you can read about on our nonprofit partnerships page. Other contributions have supported organizations and moments over the years that we remain proud of long after the events themselves.
ACME Rental was proud to support the Justin J. Watt Foundation’s mission to provide after-school opportunities for children in communities across the country. The Foundation’s work — giving kids safe, engaging places to be after the school bell rings — is the kind of cause that is easy to stand behind.
The Foundation is connected to the Houston Sports Authority Foundation through the Houston Sports Hall of Fame, where JJ Watt is being inducted in January 2027 — a fitting honor for one of Houston’s most beloved athletes, on and off the field.
Why We Give
Charitable contribution is not a marketing line for us; it is how a family business stays woven into the city that built it. The equipment we send to a fundraiser is the same equipment we send to our commercial clients, delivered and installed by the same crews.
