Housekeeping
The unglamorous half of an event: somewhere for rubbish to go, and somewhere for coats to hang. Part of ACME’s food and beverages range.
Why Does Waste Need Planning?
Because a venue has bins and a field does not, and guests will not carry a paper plate very far.
ACME’s garbage can with liner is the answer, and the planning question is placement, not quantity — though people under-order on both.
Bins go where waste is generated: the end of the buffet line, beside the bar, near the beverage station, at the exit. A bin in a corner nobody passes stays empty while the ground fills up.
The other reason: an outdoor Houston event with food and no bins is an insect problem within the hour. Waste management is not a courtesy at a summer event, it is the difference between guests staying and leaving.
When Do You Need Garment Racks?
Any event where guests arrive wearing something they will take off.
A winter wedding, a gala, a corporate evening, a conference — coats and jackets have to go somewhere, and the somewhere is either a rack or the back of every chair in the room.
ACME stocks two. The 6′ folding garment rack is the event standard: it folds flat, it moves easily, and it handles a coat check for a normal guest list. The 5′ industrial strength garment rack is built for load — heavy coats, sustained use, or a venue where the rack lives all season.
Garment racks also work back of house: staff uniforms, performer changes, linens waiting to go out.
How Many Do You Need, And Where Do They Go?
Bins: more than you think, spread wider than you think. A single bank of bins creates a queue and leaves the rest of the site littered. Distribute them to where waste is made.
Garment racks: count on the weather, not the guest list. A January evening event needs a rack per rough fifty guests; a July event may need none at all.
Coat racks need a person or a place. An unattended rack by the entrance works for a corporate event; a wedding usually wants it somewhere out of the arrival photos but still findable.

How Does Delivery Work?
Housekeeping items arrive with the rest of your order and are placed where you want them.
ACME has served Houston since 1997 and delivers across Greater Houston and the Gulf Coast, including Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands and Galveston.
Worth confirming: how many bins and where they go, whether you need coat storage for the season, and who is emptying bins during the event — rentals provide the can, not the collection.
