What Is A Frame Tent?
A tent with its structure on the outside, so the inside is completely clear.
The frame carries the load, which means no centre pole to work around and no guy ropes staked into the ground around the edge. Every square foot under the canopy is usable, and the footprint is exactly the tent size — no extra margin for ropes.
That is what makes it the go-anywhere tent. A pole tent needs soft ground to stake into and space around it for the ropes. A frame tent needs neither.
Where Can You Put One?
Almost anywhere, which is the whole point.
On concrete, asphalt or a deck — it does not need to stake into soil, so it ballasts with water barrels or concrete weights instead. In a driveway or parking lot, a courtyard, or right against a building to extend a doorway or connect two structures.
That flexibility is why frame tents cover restaurant patios, backyard events on paved areas, and industrial sites where the ground is anything but a lawn.

Both are pole-free inside; the difference is scale and duration.
A frame tent is the flexible, quick-install choice for small to mid-size events and shorter runs. A structure tent is the heavier-duty, engineered option for large spans, weeks-long installs and serious weather.

What Sidewalls And Extras?
Frame tents take frame-specific walls — not the structure-tent ones.
Solid sidewalls close it in for privacy or climate. Clear sidewalls keep the view and the light. Window sidewalls split the difference. Leg extensions raise the eave for headroom or a taller entrance.
As always in Houston, walls are required if you are cooling the tent — you cannot air-condition it open. Pair sidewalls with climate control and a generator to run it.
How Does Delivery And Setup Work?
Delivered and installed by our crew — frame tents go up fast, but they still need proper ballasting.
