ACME Party and Tent has rented and installed stage platforms and risers across Houston since 1997, for corporate general sessions, live bands, weddings, school programs, award ceremonies, fashion shows, and festival main stages. Every platform is built by our own crews, because a structure that holds people has no room for amateur assembly.

Sized to the Program, Leveled to the Site
Stage planning starts with what happens on the deck: how many people, what equipment, what movement. From there we set the footprint and height, add steps and handrails where the height calls for them, and finish with skirting and carpet so the stage looks intentional rather than industrial. Underneath, our installers level the platform to the actual site — lawns, gravel, pavement, ballroom floors, or tent sub-floors — and where the ground is genuinely difficult, sub-flooring creates a stable base first. When in doubt, a site survey settles the question before installation day.
Outdoors, Indoors, and Everything Between
Outdoor stages in Houston contend with heat, wind, and sudden weather, so anchoring, placement, and drainage all get planned rather than assumed. Under tents, we coordinate stage position with the structure’s layout so sight lines and exits work and cable runs stay tidy. Indoors, floors are protected and installs run inside the venue’s move-in window. Whatever the setting, the stage is checked level and solid before we hand it over.
