ACME Party and Tent has fielded its own installation and teardown crews in Houston since 1997. Our installers put up everything we rent: frame tents, high-peak marquis, clear-span structures and Keder track systems, staging and dance floors, pipe and drape, flooring, lighting, climate control, and power.
Because the crews are ours — not day labor hired per job — the people setting your tent have done it hundreds of times, on every kind of Houston surface, in every kind of Houston weather.

Safety and Anchoring Come First
Houston weather is the reason tent installation is a professional’s job. Gulf Coast wind and sudden storms punish shortcuts, so our crews anchor every structure to the conditions — staked where the ground allows, ballasted where it does not, with layouts confirmed by a site survey and utility locates flagged before any stake goes in. Installations are checked before handover: connections seated, fabric tensioned, floors level, exits clear.
The same discipline applies indoors. Venue floors get protected, rigging follows the venue’s rules, and our crews work inside move-in windows without drama.
Scheduled Around Your Event, Not Ours
Installation timing is planned backward from doors-open: complex builds go in days ahead with time to spare; simple setups arrive the morning of. Teardown is scheduled the same way — promptly after the event, or the next business day when venues and neighborhoods prefer it. Tents and structures are installed by our crews as part of the rental — proper anchoring and tensioning are safety matters, not optional extras. Smaller items can be delivered for customer setup where appropriate; we will confirm what applies to your order.
It depends on the size of the build. Larger structures and multi-element events are installed days ahead so downstream vendors have time to work; simple setups can go in the day before or the morning of the event.
Where staking is not possible or not permitted, we use ballast weighting engineered to the tent style and layout. The site survey determines the right anchoring approach before installation day.
Yes. We schedule around dock times, freight access, floor-protection requirements, and hard move-out deadlines at venues across Houston, and we coordinate directly with venue staff when helpful.
