Active duty military members, veterans, and military families make extraordinary sacrifices for our nation. Boots for Troops understands this deeply, and their mission has made a real difference in the lives of those who serve. Since 2015, this Tomball-based nonprofit has been dedicated to uplifting morale and empowering the mental well-being of active duty military, veterans, and military spouses across the country.
Founded by Jimmy Rogers, a U.S. Navy Retiree, and his wife Lindsey Rogers, Boots for Troops was born from a desire to give back to the military community that shaped their lives. What started as a passionate mission has grown into a comprehensive support network that reaches military members and their families in tangible, meaningful ways.
Our Partnership and Mission Alignment
Acme Rental is honored to support Boots for Troops’ mission of providing direct care and assistance to those who serve. The organization runs several vital programs that address different needs within the military community. Their signature custom care packages deliver boots and essentials to deployed troops, providing comfort and morale-boosting supplies to service members far from home. Beyond packages, Boots for Troops offers financial assistance to veterans, helps connect military members with service dogs, and provides travel assistance specifically for E1-E5 military personnel who need support.
Perhaps most importantly, Boots for Troops invests in military families through the Jimmy Rogers Military Spouse Scholarship, recognizing the unique challenges faced by military spouses.
Supporting Events That Matter
Boots for Troops hosts several major events throughout the year that raise awareness and funds for their programs. The Concert in the Country, held during Veterans Day Weekend, brings the community together to celebrate and honor military service. The Peel for a Purpose Crawfish Festival combines fun and fundraising in true Houston spirit. Their Annual Gala provides an elegant evening to celebrate donors and supporters while advancing their mission.
